Outside the UK
If you are outside the UK, search for your local crisis line (for example, “suicide hotline + your country”) or use an international directory:

Everyday support
You do not have to be in crisis to reach out. Support can include:
- Your GP or local doctor
- Talking therapies or counselling services
- Mental health charities and community groups
- Trusted friends, family, or colleagues
If you are unsure where to begin, speaking to your GP is often a sensible first step.
